Event Categories and Entry Fees
The 11 kilometre ocean paddle from Blues Point Park to Manly is open to the following categories including individual (open, over 40, 50 and 60), spec ski, sea kayak, plastic boat, double craft, stand up paddle board (SUP), paddle board and outrigger canoe (OC1).
NOTE: Ocean ski paddlers to enter in the individual category. You will then be placed in an age category when you enter your date of birth during the online registration.

Safety Rules and Equipment
PFDs/Lifejackets
Competitors are required to wear Type 2/3 Australian Standard PFD/Lifejackets for safety reasons.
Leashes These are required by competitors to maintain contact with their craft, which can be particularly difficult during high winds, or if someone should fall from their craft. The leash can be anything long as it keeps the competitor in contact with their craft. For example a Safety Leg Leash used commonly in skis.
