Oceanpaddler will be arranging a charter boat to transport your paddling craft to (or from) Rottnest Island for the race.
You can reserve a spot for your craft on the charter boat when the online entries open. This will be an option during the registration process.
$25 for Surf skis, OC1′s and Plastics
$40 for Double skis, OC1′s
$20 for SUP’s, Paddleboards
Further information on where and when the charter boat will be loaded will be provided closer to the event. Generally this takes place on Friday before the race on Saturday.
Please note that you will need to make your own arrangements to get to Rottnest Island via the ferry companies.

Rottnest Fast Ferries are our preferred ferry carrier for all competitors. The ferry leaves Hillarys Marina and drops competitors on Rottnest Island.
Rottnest Fast Ferries are offering our competitors a special discount rate for the ferry trip to Rottnest Island. A one way ticket to Rottnest will be $40 for adults.
We encourage all competitors to get the early ferry to Rottnest which departs Hillary’s Marina at 7.15am. We want everyone on the island as early as possible. Start times may vary depending on conditions and shipping movements.
Please ensure you book your ticket early so you don’t miss out. To book call Rottnest Fast Ferries on 08 9246 1039. Be sure to tell them you are competing in the Doctor Surf Ski race to get the special rate.
